New Models in HO Scale, N Scale to Follow!
CMLW and Kaslo Shops Distributing to Significantly Expand Product Line;
CMLW to Introduce N-Scale Models
19-02-2007 - CMLW and Kaslo Shops Distributing have agreed
to expand current development to include more locomotive, and other, models in
the coming year. "We want to offer the widest possible range of Canadian
product to the marketplace. With the aid of Kaslo Shops Distributing we
will be bringing many new HO scale models to the marketplace, and we will be
expanding into the N-Scale market."
Models to be developed, in addition to the SD40-2 and Dash-8 include:
MLW HR-616 - Target Date - Summer/ Fall
2007 - High reliability 6 axles - 16 cylinders! Here it comes! This
unit will be developed concurrently with the GE C40-8CM, and will use the same
chassis. Kits will be available in
Shell with assembled DC Chassis (DCC Ready)
Shell with DCC Equipped Chassis
Shell with DCC & Sound
GMD SD40u - Target Date - Fall /
Winter2007 - Often overlooked, but a great prototype, we will be producing this
kit, again in the following configurations:

Shell with DCC Equipped Chassis
Shell with DCC & Sound
GMD GP38-2 / GP40-2 Series - Found
throughout the CN network, these little workhorses make for a great model. The
wide-cab versions of these units will be scheduled for first quarter 2008

MLW RS-23 - Target Date - Fall 2007 -
OK, all you Maritimers, and everyone else! The RS-23
is coming! Later this year you will be able to purchase the RS-23 kit with
chassis. Again, it will be available in three configurations:

Shell with DCC Equipped Chassis
Shell with DCC & Sound
The Centuries are Coming! - 2008
With the development of the Dofasco truck, we will now be able to
offer the MLW C630M and M636, M636W variants in their true form, uneven axle
spacing, and all! Look for announcements on this site for development and
release dates!
Calling All N-Scale Modelers!
We have listened and heard and now we will be releasing the Sd40-2W
and CP / BC Rail variants in N Scale! More of the great models above will also
be available in N-Scale. Please let us know your preferences by contacting

above until the unit goes into pre-production. At that time we will
