WELCOME TO CANADIAN MODEL LOCOMOTIVE WORKS
Finally I have broadband! I have been working out
of Abu Dhabi in the UAE for some time now and it is a great place.
However, until yesterday I only had a "Dial Up" connection in the apartment!
(Does anyone remember what that was like?) updates will now be more regular
and I apologize for the delays.

CMLW listens to you the modeler. We want to provide you with the widest variety of the locomotives and rolling stock you want. If there is a model you would like to see produced, we will certainly entertain it. We will list it on the site and invite expressions of interest from the modeling community. We do ask that only earnest expressions of interest be expressed, as these models are expensive to bring to market, and we require accurate figures to work with. Built by MLW the HR 412 and M420 provided four axle tractive effort for CN, BCR and W&P. Since their retirement, these units have found their way to various short line and regional railways north and south of the border. CMLW are now taking advanced reservations for the HR412 and M420 Series.
Built by MLW as RS-18's, these units were "shopped" in 1990 to re-emerge as CRS-20 units complete with a new Caterpillar heart. This project has been suggested by Colin Restorick, of Edmonton, AB Cheers! Ok you guys, let's have some nice pics for the web page!
Suggested by Dale Madison, these cars were single level passenger coaches built by Hawker Siddley in Thunder Bay for Go Transit and later found on the ONR and AMT. Now we need your support to make this happen. Results and a tally to be kept on the car's web page. Ok Dale, need some nice pics to get the page online! Since we delivered the GP9-RM in late 2004, we have heard, off and on, from several modelers that the one piece they needed to complete the picture was a slug. Well, if the interest is there, and I know it is, we will produce a powered, DCC ready slug. Now you can have not only a great GP9RM, but a powered slug to go with it! |
